Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Interior Design Associate to support our Senior Designers in delivering high-quality residential interior projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for freshers or early-career designers to gain hands-on exposure to client discussions, 3D designing, site coordination, and project execution within a fast-paced, professional environment.
The role demands creativity, willingness to learn, strong coordination skills, and a proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Shadow Senior Designers during client meetings and design discussions.
- Prepare accurate Minutes of Meetings (MoM) and track project milestones to ensure timely execution.
- Assist in creating 3D designs using SpaceCraft (HomeLane’s internal software) and SketchUp.
- Support in developing commercial proposals and validating quotations for accuracy and transparency.
- Participate in site visits and assist in site measurements and masking activities.
- Maintain organized project documentation across HomeLane tech systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as Sales, Drawing QC, Project Management, and Planners to ensure smooth project flow.
- Provide design inputs and suggest enhancements under the guidance of the Senior Designer.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Architecture or Design (B.Arch, B.Des, M.Des, or Diploma in Design).
- 0–1 year of experience in Interior Design or Architecture (freshers are welcome to apply).
- Basic knowledge of modular furniture and residential interior concepts.
- Working knowledge of SketchUp (mandatory).
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
